Message from the President

Founded in 2007, Kids’ Chance of America was formed to create, assist and support additional organizations throughout the United States with this simple purpose: raise money to provide college scholarships for the children of workers catastrophically or fatally injured on the job.

Far overdue, the mission was clear, Hawaii’s keiki deserve this same educational opportunity and it was our industry’s kuleana to make it happen.

Born and raised in Waimanalo, Kids’ Chance of Hawaii was officially formed in March of 2018, making Hawaii the 42nd Member State of Kids’ Chance of America.

Our Board proudly represents stakeholders from all areas of workers compensation, who have committed to volunteering their time to ensure we succeed with this mission.

Kids’ Chance of Hawaii is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit organization that dedicates 100% of all proceeds to children pursuing traditional college programs as well as trade school.

With the support of Kids’ Chance of America, our Board has been working diligently to prepare for the launch of our website, taking us one step further to fulfilling our promise to support our keiki.

Through education and awareness, we can all make a difference. Please join us in supporting Kids’ Chance of Hawaii, and extending a big Mahalo to all of the States who came before us, paving the road for our own.

Aloha,

Milia Leong
Kids’ Chance of Hawaii, President
