Congratulations to Kids’ Chance of Hawaii’s 2021 Scholarship Recipients!
Congratulations to Kiana and Matt Favela! We are pleased to award the two siblings’ scholarships which will assist their pursuit of higher education at Chapman University. As Kiana wraps up her final year studying Journalism, Matt will begin his first year studying Software Engineering. Matt was only three years old when his father, Steve, passed away. In memory of his father, Matt dedicates his free time to volunteering at school and in the community. During his time, he has worked as a website developer for various non-profit organizations, like Youth Service Hawaii, and interning with local grass roots companies looking to make a positive impact in Hawai`i. Kids’ Chance of Hawai`i is proud to be support these promising young minds as they pursue their dreams!
